the major events in my life, including but not limited to:
1. my sister's graduation. It was cool and dry out, I wore my "Usher" nametag far into the night, and I got away with several of those small green bottles of Perrier that only appear on campus during times of death or transition. Sometimes both, like those transitive deaths the movie stars are always talking about.
2. my new apartment. (said defensively) It has a rustic charm! Our apartment has (as I just heard from my one apartment mate who is also staying there for the summer) 30 mugs and no electricity for our lucky, lucky subletters. We got lots o' free stuff from my sister, who kept muttering incoherently about my unfair lack of a startup cost and who is currently driving across the country with her partner in crime. Also, my closet seems just for show. There, I said it.
3. my return to seattle and
4. subsequent unfruitful job hunt.
5. my lack of a job.
6. my desperation for a job,
7. any job.
8. reading sense and sensibility. What can I say? The book is good.
